Linda Jean (Primevara) Ulrich, 72, of Elizabethtown, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday, March 9, 2020, at her home in West Donegal Township. Born Friday, July 18, 1947 in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Phyllis (Winslow) Primevara. She was married to Richard E. “Whitey” Ulrich who died on October 8, 2016.
Linda retired from the Tyco (TE Connectivity) in 2012 after 29 years of employment. She then worked part time for the US Post Office and finally Personal Angels Home Care, where her gift for nurturing and lifting the spirits of her clients was evident. Linda loved to work on puzzles, knit, read, study her Bible, bake, cook and spend time with her cat and family members. She enjoyed her affiliation with Eastern Star, and her church family.
Surviving is a sister, Norma LaVoie, married to Peter, of Maine as well as two sons: Bob Harnish, married to Pam, of Columbia and Donald Packard, engaged to Liz Eckenrode, of Elizabethtown and a daughter, Denise Harnish, of Lancaster. She is also survived by a niece, Donna Chamberlain; a nephew, Billy LaVoie, both of Maine; seven grandchildren: Seth, Justice, Kristin, Jeanne, Crystal, Autumn and Harold, as well as nine great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, March 16, 2020, at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 Second Lock Road, Lancaster, PA 17603. Following the Graveside Service, a Memorial Service will begin promptly at Noon (visitation will follow the service) at Stevens Hill Community Church of the Brethren, 3131 Turnpike Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
