Pearl I. (Reichard) Kaufman

Pearl I. Kaufman, of Salunga, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the age of 87. Born June 23, 1935 in Mount Joy she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna (Stern) Reichard. She was the loving wife of 57 years to the late Edward Kaufman.

She spent her working career as a sewing machine operator and she also worked at the Dela Ches Fishing Association as a cook which she thoroughly enjoyed. In her free-time you could find Pearl in her garden, crocheting, canning her goods from the garden, hunting and volunteering with GAiN Global Aid.  She will forever be remembered by her kind heart and hardworking soul. Her jokes and sense of humor will be missed.

Pearl is survived by her children: Ruth J. Warner (Lenny) and Edward P. Kaufman (Charlotte); grandchildren: Eddie Kaufman (Janet) and Christine Kaufman and a handful of great grandchildren; siblings:  Bertha Coffman, Linda Brock (Gary), Rhoda Nye (Jim) and her beloved pet cockatiel, Charley.  She is preceded in death by her siblings: Robert Reichard, Jay Reichard, Phares Reichard, Geraldine Alton, and Dorothy Neal.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday March 14, 2023 10AM at Grand View Memorial Park. 500 N Weaber St, Lebanon, PA 17046.
