Bette Lou (Bryant) Jasienski

Bette Lou (Bryant) Jasienski, 75, peacefully entered her eternal home surrounded by family at her home in Mount Joy, PA following a lengthy illness.  She was born on Friday, November 1, 1940 in Houston, Texas to the late William C. and Ethel L. (O’Brien) Bryant.  She was married to Victor L. Jasienski for 22 years until his death on March 31, 2006.

She will be lovingly missed by her children; Melanie B. Sheaf and husband, James, of Morristown, TN; John F. Norwood, Jr., and wife Shannon, of Mount Joy; Tammy Gray and husband Marc, of Edmond, OK; her 8 grandchildren: Dustin Courtney and wife Bonnie, Spring TX; Matthew and Joshua Sheaf, Morristown, TN, Asher and Enna Norwood, Mount Joy, PA; Ashley Gray, Katie Nix and Sara Nix, Edmond, OK; three sisters: Susan M. Westbrook and husband, Jack, of Richmond, TX; Kathie L. Starr and husband Joey, of Richmond, TX; Lisa J. Sherman, of Cypress, TX; a cousin, Judy Mason and husband, Steve, of The Woodlands, TX;  her lifelong friend Oliver Fontenot, as well as Bette’s extended family and caring friends.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laurie L. Courtney, a son, Paul M. Stringer, III and brother-in-law, David Sherman.

Funeral Services will be held at Living Hope Assembly, 842 North Hanover Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 6:30 PM with the Reverend Rob Roberge officiating.  The family will greet visitors beginning at 6:00 PM until time of service on Monday.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bette’s memory to Living Hope Assembly, to the memorial tree fund for Bette or the charity of your choice.
