Deb,
My heart goes out to you, Brian, Braden, and Abbye. Tom was a special guy, and I am very sorry he is no longer with us. It's nice to know that he touched so many lives and was so fondly thought of. I bet he had no idea, and I think he'd be very pleased to know that in this life he mattered to so many.
You are in my thoughts and my prayers.

To Tom's family,

Our heartfelt condolences to each of you. We were both blessed to have worked with Tom for the past 15 years and we can say without a doubt, he was not only great at his job in the state Senate but just one of the nicest people you could be lucky enough to see during your day. Tom had a personality that was welcoming and friendly. When the elevator door opened and you saw Tom was in it, it was like a small gift had been given to you. He just made even short elevator rides better by exchanging just a smile or a few pleasant short words. He also was so wonderful to work with in that he went above and beyond for anyone over anything. It might have been great customer service or just Tom being Tom...it was hard to tell because he made us feel like friends.

Everyone can be replaced but not everyone might be missed. No doubt, Tom will be hard to replace and he will most definitely be missed. We regret we cannot share these words and many other fond ones with you in person Saturday as you send Tom off from this world, but you will be in our prayers and especially in our thoughts as Tom will be for a long time to come.

All our best,
Geri and Mike Sarfert

Tom's personality and cheerfulness were bright spots each and every day in the Senate. He probably had no idea how much people enjoyed his company and good nature. No task was too small, and each was completed with a smile. He was part of our daily fabric and will be missed dearly.

Sincere condolences to your family Tom. What the Senate cannot replace they surely cannot. May you find peace and blessings through His love.
