I am so saddened at Dr. D's passing. He was an awesome vet and I trusted him profoundly with my pets for the past 38 years. He was gentle, compassionate, insightful, and extremely competent. My heart felt love and care to his family and to the E town area animal hospital family. He will be missed beyond words!!!

Thoughts and prayers with all of you during this difficult time. Dr. D was one of a kind. When we had our first visit with him we left there knowing we would never go anywhere else. I never met a vet that was so down to earth, caring and compassionate. I felt as though he treated all our animals like they were one of his own. Thankful for the time we had with him. Dr. D we will miss you.

Rosa, Rich, Laura, Anita and family, We are so sorry for your loss. We were very upset when we heard the news. Dr. D. was so kind and compassionate with the care of our cats Buddy and Pumpkin over the past 14 years, especially Pumpkin, who lived to be 18 years old. For the past year he cared for our new kittens Milo and Gizmo. He calmed my fears and panic when another vet, at a microchip event, told us that Milo had a possibly fatal heart murmur. I trusted his opinion tremendously. Your whole family is wonderful. I remember when I first moved to Etown you welcomed me into your home and invited me to family events. Dr. D. always remembered my daughter and would remind her that she had been coming to the office since she was in a little baby carrier. She is now 12. She always looked forward to going to appointments to see him and enjoyed seeing which funky tie he would be wearing. He will be greatly missed. Sending thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. D. Dr. D has been there countless times when our fur family needed attention. He even spent one night sitting with us most of a night during an emergency and the difficult days that followed. He comforted us so many times as we said goodbye to our beloved pets over the past 27 years. Thank you to his family for sharing him so often with us for late night calls. Rest in peace Dr D.

My heartfelt sympathy to Rosa and family. I am so grateful to have known this man for 21 yrs. I was in the office last wk with a very sick cat named Smedley and brought him home Thurs.. So many pets and so many stories, happy and sad. One I will share. My cats all walk with me when my dog Maggie and I walk on the path. He told me that one of his happiest memories was when he and his wife walked the kids and his cats followed along🐯 and now I have a kitten abandoned on a back road and I named him Morse. Just Morse! And he took a look at this sick little guy and said, "let's call him Endeavor, my wife loves that show!" my thoughts are with you all....I can't think of a more wonderful place for his service than Masonic Homes Chapel.

such a shock to hear of his passing. He was our vet and our dogs truly lived him. Mac our English mastiff he would call "moose" the countless hours he had recently cared for him. Checking in on him. Making sure that we had what we needed. I still can't believe I'm writing this. We are all grieving for he family. May god bless you all. I have great comfort knowing that he's now taking care of our two Rottweiler's that have passed from cancer. Say hi to Andre and Lexie for me Dr D....with love, the Groffs

We are deeply saddened by Dr. D's passing. We are praying for your family and he will be truly missed. Dr. D was a lovely, caring man who went out of his way to give comfort to his furry patients and their families. I can remember the time he called me at 11:30 p.m. after my dog, Sam, passed early that evening. He was checking in on me to make sure I knew he was there if I needed anything and to answer any questions that I may have had. He stopped by our home several times to see our pets and provide medication in order to save us a trip to the animal hospital. He was a truly caring man. We will miss seeing him work in his yard and garden with his followers Tracker and Amy. We will think of him and his family every time we go to the animal hospital, whenever we look at his home from ours and whenever we see his wife, Rosie (as I have heard him call her).
Please know we will truly miss him and think of him and his family always. Many prayers are being sent to God. We will always be here if you need anything.

We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. D over 12 years ago, when our dog Bear got sick. He was a awesome vet and a great man, you could tell that what he did was not a job but it was his life and he loved it, I was just in the office 2 weeks ago with my pet and once again he brought joy to my heart. Doc will be truly missed not only by me but my pet and many others out there, But I know that he is now taking care of my Bear in Heaven. God Bless you Doc. My thoughts and prayers are with your family because I know this a Great Loss. Thank you for all that have done.

We first met Dr. Delaney nearly twenty years ago. He was just what you would picture if you imagined the ideal doctor for your furry family. Wise, patient and gentle with a special knack for explaining what he found. The joy he felt toward every animal came through in each visit. He was a kind man. He was a gentleman. God bless him and his family. Heaven has someone to tend to our pets now. We are grateful.

I would like to express my sincerest condolences to the family of Dr. D.
He took care of my seizure response dog at the urgent request of my parents, Galen and Melvia several years ago after she was traumatized by a firecracker incident that injured her while working to aid me in Washington DC. Dr. D. saw Princess Grace without hesitation. Not only did he tend to her wounds but also to her spirit. He was so kind with her and always after asked my parents about us every time he saw them. I will always be grateful for the care he took with my special girl and hold a special place in my heart for what a wonderful and special man he was. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Dr. D was an extraordinary vet who's wisdom and compassion for our beloved pets will be greatly missed. I had a great deal of respect and admiration for him, I never second guessed him, I trusted him completely with my dogs health and well being. He was very passionate about his work, not many people can say that they love going to their job everyday as I'm sure he did. I have no doubt that he had many furry friends waiting to greet him on the other side.

We found Dr. Delaney by chance and we were very glad we did!
He was a true small town vet who really did take time for his furry patients. He made sure everything was taken care of before you left his office.
You could see his compassion,as well as his sense of humor, when you took your pets to him and they did something funny. You could see that he did truly love his profession.
We were lucky enough that he also had our daughter there on a career shadowing experience He did guide her in the right direction....I feel lucky I got to share that with him just recently.

We will truly miss him, it is like we lost a part of our family.

I first met DR.D in 1991 when , I brought my cat Cylde to his office. He was white. DR. D said Lotus's brother joking.
Since, then I have adopted many more animals.
When , my triplets were very small and I needed to bring Clyde in at the old office, DR.D
would open the examine door to the outside. I would park my van, sliding door open . So, I could watch my triplets and be there for Clyde too. DR. D would always tell me that , he remembers me coming in and tell him that I was pregnant with triplets . He would smile and chuckle. All my triplets, Nikelle , Timothy and Nathanial work at Giant . They would come home and tell me, I saw DR.D today.
My daughter, Jaclyn first met DR.D when she was 2 , the day we walked in with Clyde back in 1991. Now, Jaclyn is all grown up and has her own animals. They have gone to DR.D too.
DR. D always asked about my family , when I can in.
DR.D was hardworking, dedicated, truly loved his job and loved every animal .
My family and myself will truly miss DR.D
Forever in our hearts
With Deepest Sympathy
