Ken & Family,
May God give you grace, peace and comfort for each day. There are no words that can fully express our condolences for your great loss. Ella Mae shared her love with so many, was a woman of prayer and always had an open door and listening ear. Thank you for sharing her with us! Phil & Esther Kenney

Ken and family, know that you have been in our prayers over the past many days and now in the passing of your wonderful wife and mother. Ella Mae surely was a joy to know and to work with at Lomalinda over the years. We will not forget her Navajo bread either. As you mourn her loss, may the peace of our Lord be ever present and sustain you all. We DO have wonderful memories. Praying for you all especially today.

Ken, Connie, Chris and Anthony
May the Lord of all comfort and the giver of abundant grace surround you with HIS arms of comfort as you walk through this time. I have wonderful memories of Ken and Ella as our youth leaders at Swatara Hill, going to LBC night school, going Christmas caroling and having hot chocolate and cookies at their farm afterward and their wonderful desire to serve the Lord. I really appreciated Ella and her love for the Lord and all that she did to be Ken's partner in life and in the Lord's service. They were such an example for me because I knew when I was young that I wanted to go to LBC and serve the Lord.
I appreciated so much when Ella and Jean came to visit my mom before she passed and that I was able to visit her and enjoy our conversation and the beautiful trees last fall. I know the loss that you will feel, but at the same time, knowing that she is no longer in pain and enjoying the golden streets and the beautiful music that heaven provides. Love to you! I was in Jungle Camp with the Zells and remember them both as loving and hospitable people. Ella Mae was always cheerful even in difficult circumstances. I was not aware that they had served at JAARS- I am serving there now having come 8 years ago. I'm sure her passing will leave a large hole in the family circle- but be welcomed in heaven!

My daughter and family now live in NEw Mexico - I can see Ella Mae being very at home there.

Dear Ken and family,
How in the world do I say what is on my heart? Ella Mae was one of a kind, and we will never forget her love, prayers, support and care for our kids when they were little. We'll never forget her hospitality and love for the LML family and people in the minority groups of Colombia. Her love for the Lord was obvious by the peace and joy on her face. She loved each of you, her family, and I know you all will miss her. WE will all miss her. We love all the Zells and look forward to seeing you again. Jim joins me is sending our love.

We are so sorry to hear of Ella's passing; however, we are so happy she is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and is pain-free! We really would not to wish her back to earth! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, the family, as you grieve the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, etc. May our Lord put his loving arms around you and give you strength to face this "new" life.

Lo siento! We feel it, for you. Our hearts go out to you all, wishing we were there already, to help out in any way. We'll miss "Aunt" Ella Mae (and how she would not even walk the 100 steps or so to our house to visit if I let the grass grow too high - something about snakes??) After seeing her ride on the back of your (Uncle Ken's) 500 Yamaha for years, it was so funny seeing her on the back of 50 cc MoPed on Block Island - I get a laugh out of picturing the pair of you on that tiny, tiny bike. We will miss her deeply. We will keep praying you thru this time of grieving. Hang in there.
