Aunt Irene was the first role model I had of a career woman -- she was smart, confident, stylish and stunning, with personality for miles. She taught me to take pride in our work and to be precise in everything we did. She had the most beautiful penmanship and her figures were impeccable. I will always remember her many kindnesses to me and my grandmother, and the high standards she embodied. The world will surely be a less colorful place without her.
