Martha E. Reisinger

Martha E. Reisinger, 74, of Bainbridge passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Mannschoice, PA she was the daughter of the late Russell and Emma (Fritz) Spencer. She was widowed by her husband James E. Reisinger in 1998.

Martha worked as a Tibetan Mastiff and Bernese Mountain breeder. She was also a skilled dog groomer, and owned a kennel. She liked to frequent her local American Legion and worked as a bartender at the Navy Club. In her free time she liked to cook, bake, do crossword puzzles, and watch only football on TV. Martha was also an avid reader. She will be fondly remembered as a strong willed woman.

She is survived by her son Arthur S. Reisinger, husband of Renee of Bainbridge, step-daughter Teresa M. Frick, wife of Thomas of Landisville, two grandchildren, Kimberly Leaman, wife of Jonathan, and Caitlin Reisinger, and four great grandchildren, Derick Ebersole, Hope Leaman, Jonathan Leaman, Jr.,  and Gage Reisinger. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Popa and Leona Stapleton, one brother Dexel Spencer, and a grandson Thomas Ebersole.

Family and friends are invited to a gathering to celebrate her life from 3-5PM on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Elstonville Sportsman Club, 3133 Pinch Rd., Manheim, PA 17545.
