Though I did not know Dr. Reilly, I did know his son and daughter-in-law. I wanted to express my condolences. It is always hard to lose a parent at any age. I hope knowing he had such a long life is some comfort at this sorrowful time.

with him in the operating room of Washington Hospital for many years. He was a very
kind and sincere person and an excellent ophthalmologist.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I went to Dr. Reilly as a patient from when I was a child and after I came back to town to practice and got on the staff of the Hospital was able to work with him as a colleague and came to respect him even more. I was sorry when he retired and even more sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed.
