I was so sorry to read of Mr. Frank's passing. He was a special man and great friend and tent mate of my father on Saipan in WWII. I never had the privilege to meet him but corresponded with him after my father's death. Such a kind and gentle soul. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to read of Mr. Frank's passing. He was such a special friend to my father and then after my dad's passing, to me. Such a kind and sweet soul. My prayers are with his family.

Going to see you and Gerry at your house was such a treat it felt like we were going on a new adventure and we were!! I always admired your curious mind and It influenced me a great deal. Mary and I send our regrets to the family on this sad occasion. We and our children, Bill and Louise remember all of the fun things we did with the four girls - now grown women - and parents. We remember the sledding down the long hills south of Strasburg and the ride or walk back up the hill. - and then we went to your home and your mother had prepared hot cocoa and a lot of goodies. We had many other good times - must be 45? years ago? It would be nice to see all of you again - we are in Willow Valley Retirement Communities and are unable to attend funerals anymore. We noticed your residences are scattered. God has given us the gift of memory and I am sure you have many interesting memories of your father and mother. All of us must reach this inevitable conclusion.Sorry! the Wentzes

Vonnie, Debbie, Shelley, and Laurie,
I was sad to read about your Dad's death in the paper. I mentioned it to Dad this morning and we both said how much we enjoyed doing things with your family in Strasburg. The first thought was sledding down the big hill with the road closed and then returning to your house on Miller Street for hot chocolate and sandwiches. I know that Debbie, Shelley and I were also very active in MYF with David and Joan Myers - the winter retreats at Camp Innabah and the Halloween parties in Christ Herr's barn. Treasure the memories that you have as a family and know that family and friends support you during this time. Mother, Dad, and I are thinking of you all.

I'm so sorry for your families loss. Frank was a great man. It was a pleasure helping to take care of him at PV. He is and will always be one of my favorites. I loved his sense of humor and the talks we would have. It will not be the same without him!
Sending love to you all,
Nikki (CNA)
